Hurricane Irene

These first few pictures are taken right after the tree hit our home. It's still storming and we don't even know we're about to be evacuated by the fire department yet. These are taken from within the house and porches.

 The following pictures are taken later that same day. We've already been at mom's for a while and the rain and wind have pretty much stopped. We went back to get more things from the house and take better photos for our insurance company. You can see the tree pressed up against the house, lying across the street and also the base of the tree and how all it did to the neighbor's house was lift one fence rail.

It was probably the scariest thing Jim and I have gone through, but all that matters is we are all ok. Eventually the house will be too.

Baskets

I don't know why staying at Nana's has meant Charlie spending a lot of time in baskets, but it has. Clearly.

When we are back in our home and back on our computer able to upload photos and videos we will have lots to share. Yucky photos of Hurricane Irene's cruel joke on our house and of course our little guy Charlie Bear!
