Newport (Part 2)

It felt a little wrong taking a baby to a wine tasting, but we did it anyway! What an amazing winery, such gorgeous views, beautiful day it was perfect. Charlie had fun sitting on the wood bar while we tried some whites and a red. Then we went out to the picnic table to feed him some lunch and enjoy the peace and quiet under the trees. From there we headed to a butterfly farm I had read about on Trip Advisor. All I can say is Oh. My. God. Ghetto! Since Jim loves me though we ventured inside of this sweltering hot box to be lectured in the tarp covered vestibule for what seemed like an eternity by the high school teacher who runs the place. He spoke of the dangers of letting anything fly out, government fines, the infamous Hoboken incident of Japanese rose beetles, death by firing squad, etc. When he felt we were aware of the repercussions and could handle ourselves responsibly (and saw my eyes glazing over) only then  could we actually enter the exhibit. We were in and out in under ten minutes. Charlie literally had sweat running down the side of his face! He did seem to enjoy seeing the butterflies flitting about though.
